As this Motel is Mainly a Corporate based Establishment, Please keep noise to a Minimum and a there is a Strictly Non-Party rule at the Premises of The Elmwood Motel
The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons in their party and their visitors whilst on the property. Failing these rules your Stay will be terminated without refund.

Smoking We operate a strictly Non-Smoking Premises.
In the event of anyone having smoked in the unit, accommodation will be terminated immediately without reimbursement of room or any other payment. We reserve the right to charge cleaning costs of NZ$250 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.

Strong-Smelling Food:
The cooking of strong-smelling food is not permitted in our motel units in order to avoid lingering odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests. In the event of strong-smelling food odours in the unit, we reserve the right to charge cleaning costs of up to NZ$250 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.

Pets: We do not allow pets in the motel units. If pets are taken into the units without management knowledge, an extra cleaning charge will apply.

Under 20 Years: Guests under the age of 20 must be accompanied by a guest of 20 years or over

Extra Person Charges: Room tariff is for 1 - 2 guests. Extra person charges are applied to all additional guests staying in the Unit and/or sleeping in their vehicle and using motel facilities. Contact management for extra person rates.

General Visitors: Are permitted at the management's discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. No visitors are allowed in rooms after 10pm. Any damage to the room or property may be charged, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable.

Furniture: Is to please remain in original locations.

Damage/Behaviour: The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons in their party and their visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel and any recovery fees will be charged to the registered guest. Where damage has occurred, a bond will be held on the credit card until the actual costs of repair and or replacement are known and any associated costs. We reserve the right to cancel bookings in the event of abusive or threatening behaviour made prior to or upon arrival or at any stage during the stay without refund.

Long Stayers: 2 or more nights
Room Service is done daily as requested, Basic Towels and Rubbish done daily,
while A full Service will be done once a week.
Please keep the  Apartment in a Reasonable state while staying
Excessive Room/Apartment Messiness or extra cleaning required during this period may incur Extra Charges and your stay could be terminated without Refund.

Rubbish/Recycling Bins are located beside Reception in Car Park

Check-in/out: Check-in is available from 14:00hrs (2.00pm) on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is 10:00hrs (10.00am) on the day of departure. A late Check-out Fee may Apply
Early Check-in / Check-out is by prior arrangement only.
